Wow, I never knew some of these details about Chrissie. She is certainly in a class by her own. I think some of the issues she struggled with certainly have greater impact to female readers and make for that much of a greater story and a stronger connection than I had. Keep in mind, I thought this was an outstanding story of her journey to becoming a world champion. With such a compelling story, other than throwing sheer volume, intensity, and determination at her goals, I was disappointed to find very little training nuggets that I feel would help my personal goal to finish an Ironman. Unlike Macca’s book loaded with little training tips throughout, A Life Without Limits is a great bio of a great champion. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and her life’s story.
