This is a great and simple little sauce to go over pasta. We like to use it over ravioli.


  • 2-3 Tbs EVOO
  • 1 Onion – minced
  • 6 Gloves of Garlic
  • 1 23 oz can of Crushed Tomatoes
  • 2-3 Fresh Tomatoes Diced
  • 1 Tbs Sugar
  • 3 Tbs Fresh Basil


Add EVOO to a sauce pan on medium heat. Once the oil is hot, sauté the onions until tender. Add garlic. After 2 minutes, add remaining ingredients. Let cook down for approximately 30 minutes. Can be served over grilled veggies and pasta, tortellini, ravioli, etc.
